mVent+

Provides control for two sets of vents, one on each side of the ridge.  Full proportional control of glasshouse vents are provided, so that the vents open and close in small steps as the temperature rises and falls. Setpoints allow venting temperatures, minimum vent settings qualified by minimum temperatures and start times to be defined for both day and night periods, providing full professional temperature control for your greenhouse.

Additional setpoints define four wind thresholds, low wind, high wind (wind along ridge), windward high wind and leeward high wind giving maximum control of the ventilation.

Light Influence Option
When a light sensor is connected, additional setpoints allow the day temperature settings to be influenced according to the light intensity. This allows higher venting temperatures to be used on brighter days, matching the greenhouse temperature to the plants ability to grow

Humidity Control Option
When a humidity sensor is connected, additional day and night humidity thresholds and humidity vent opening sizes may be programmed.

Wind Speed Options

Wind Speed Sensor: if the wind speed sensor is fitted, the controller will display the current wind speed and a wind threshold may be programmed. As the speed approaches this threshold, the vents will start to close so that they are closed right down to the high wind limit when the threshold is reached.

Wind Switch: The less expensive wind switch is a swinging vane sensor that will trigger at about 25mph. If the wind speed increases above this threshold the vents will close to a programmed limit, eliminating possible damage during windy weather automatically.

Rain Sensor Option

An electronic rain sensor can be used to automatically limit the vent opening when it is raining, preventing the crop from getting wet. This sensor is very sensitive and will start to close the vents immediately it starts to rain.
